I come from a diverse background, spending time in various cultures such as the hispanic culture living in Mexico, the middle eastern culture serving in Afghanistan, European culture from friends and family, and of course the average American culture.  This has given me a solid ground and respect for the depth of influence a culture can bring as well as understanding that people are made of choices.  For example, I chose to serve in the Military, spend time serving on missions and local youth.  I currently serve as a council person and a non profit President.  These choices of service stem form my diverse background and core foundation in Christ.  This combination of influence in my life has caused me to Love and Respect people and work to serve those around me.  The core of my philosophy in life is based on Love and Respect for one another, and thus all my arguments stem from the foundation.

I am a Multicultural counselor that was inspired by my personal journey as a visually impaired adopted child to help others in their journey. My wife Amy and I married in December of 2006 and we have a 10 year-old daughter. We are a biracial family. I was a pastor before becoming a counselor for over 20 years with multicultural, multi-generational churches in the Pacific Northwest including Alaska. I’ve been involved in missions to Hong Kong, China, Heidelberg, Germany and Cairo, Egypt.
